The adhesive is an extremely aggressive permanent adhesive that is formulated to withstand a wide range of temperature cycles.

A Tough Solution For Chemical Drum Labeling

PolyUltra is a tough, high-performance label that is ideal for chemical drum labeling applications. PolyUltra’s facestock is a rugged, high-performance film that features high strength, durability, and resistance to UV, chemicals and solvents, tears, and punctures. When printed using a midrange or resin ribbon, PolyUltra labels deliver outstanding performance for both indoor and outdoor applications in all areas, including printability, adhesion, abrasion and tearing resistance, UV resistance, and bar code scannability. The adhesive is specially formulated to withstand regular temperature cycling. Testing has shown excellent adhesion in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 220°F.

Recommended Applications

PolyUltra labels are ideal for chemical drum labeling. In addition, PolyUltra is an excellent solution for permanent shelf marking, outdoor applications, permanent labeling of HDPE, and other applications where the temperature regularly cycles. A midrange or resin ribbon is recommended for optimal thermal transfer imaging performance and results. PolyUltra is not recommended for auto-dispense applications.
