Linerless Labels on the Rise
Linerless labels function by using a release coating on their face, and an adhesive backing. These labels have a number of benefits compared to the usual liner-backed label. By not incorporating a liner, the material cost of the label drops drastically, more labels are able to fit on a single roll and by extension, fit into a carton, reducing the overall cost for shipping.
