General Data is currently searching for an Inside Service & Supplies Account Manager to be responsible for personal sales to achieve sales and profit goals.  

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth in GDC service contracts, printer supplies, and hardware. 

This position encompasses the following:

  • Business development for Service and Supplies products in the Americas.
  • Sales management including, working with marketing, setting and attaining sales quotas.
  • Lead development and prospecting via industry networking, attending trade shows, customer-base follow-up, referrals, targeted sales campaigns and cold calls.
  • Collaborate and support other GDC divisions with joint sales opportunities.
  • Design bundled solutions for customers which leverage the breadth of GDC’s products and services.
  • Manage monthly sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Work with vendors to control cost and resolve issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; presenting quarterly reviews; making recommendations to management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or minimum 3 years functional experience in a sales role in an office environment, primarily in a B2B setting.
  • Sales account management experience preferred.
  • Managed Print Services, toner and contract sales preferred. 
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact and communicate with customers and other General Data team members.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in an environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. 
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems.  
  • Ability to meet or exceed goals set by company. 
  • Ability to uncover customer/prospect needs, leverage existing networks and demonstrate solutions as required.
  • Must be able to travel with some overnight stays, as business dictates.
