Seek Scan™ Thermal Imaging System
If you are looking for a way to quickly screen employees, students, customers, event attendees, or anyone else entering a facility, here is an easy solution. Seek Scan is an affordable thermal imaging system designed to automate body temperature screening. This system delivers the same performance as an infrared temporal thermometer – but automated, and at a safe social distance.
Here's how it works: a fixed heat source (temperature-controlled reference device) is mounted on a facility wall, counter, tripod, or cart. Several feet away is another tripod with a thermal camera/camera combination designed to precisely measure skin temperature. A person steps in front of the fixed source (you can have an "X" on the floor or a sign on where to stand), the thermal imager measures the person's temperature, and within 2-3 seconds, issues an audible beep with the temperature; green LED readout for acceptable range, red LED readout for unacceptable, and your facility can implement the policies for each.
The Seek Scan system can be up and running in minutes with no special training and no special equipment. Best of all, social distancing is maintained, and no touching of surfaces is required.
