PaintMask™ labels are constructed using a multi-layer combination of durable materials, aggressive adhesives and a specially formulated topcoat specifically designed for asset tracking applications in powder coating, painting and staining processes. Paint it, coat it, stain it, finish it, and know that your printed barcodes, text and other information will remain legible and scannable both before and after the painting, powder coating, staining and finishing processes.
Using a reverse printing technology, the printing is done on the back of the label, on the print-receptive liner. This assures the protection of the printed text and barcodes from abrasion and handling, in addition to paint, stain or coatings.

Our thermal transfer PaintMask™ labels are constructed with a topcoated polyester film, an aggressive, permanent adhesive and a matte-coated, print-receptive liner. The durable, polyester film construction allows the label to hold up against chemicals, paints, solvents, abrasion, stains and finishes while the aggressive adhesive ensures the label stays put through all of these processes. This label displays excellent tear strength, dimensional stability, heat resistance and opacity, and can withstand powder coating, staining and finishing processes - all while protecting the printed information and keeping the text readable and the barcodes scannable.
