The Smart Touch runs on open source Linux to transmit data over a network to numerous peripherals, and is ideally suited for data collection over networks with barcode scanners, thermal printers, PLC’s, or as an industrial PC HMI. The Smart Touch is a standalone system and does not require an internet connection, which also means security risks are almost nonexistent. Additionally, users will not be using unauthorized sites or social media.
The Smart Touch Panel can act as a single point of access for varied data types, allowing users to interact with multiple systems, processes, and/or devices through a single interface. Software licensing is not required, which means no downtime spent waiting for updates and lower operating costs.
