(GDC), (https://www.general-data.com) a leading manufacturer, coater and provider of products and solutions for labeling, barcoding, RFID, data management and equipment service, has acquired Advanced Barcode & Label Technologies (ABLT) (https://www.general-data.com) of Scottdale, Georgia. ABLT is a label manufacturer specializing in UV ink jet digital printing technologies for producing ruggedized custom labels and tags for industrial applications.
With this acquisition, General Data will expand its customer base in the industries and markets that ABLT currently serves. General Data will also add new label manufacturing equipment and technologies to its existing capabilities, enabling it to expand its offerings to the industrial market.
ABLT is owned by Elizabeth Davey (President) and Richard Davey (Chief Operating Officer). In its nearly three decades of operation, Liz and Richard have continually invested in cutting-edge label manufacturing equipment and capabilities to produce the perfect labeling solution for each customer’s unique needs and requirements.
