With a footprint that is 32% smaller than the LaserTrack FLEX, it’s uniquely designed to be placed at grossing stations to create a distributed cassette printing model that supports an efficient and error-free lab workflow.
The LaserTrack SLIM features LaserTrack’s proven laser printing technology that prints on all three sides of the cassette. It produces clean lines and high-definition text and barcodes with nearly perfect scan rates, from the first printed cassette to the last.

Small Footprint Designed For Distributed Cassette Printing At Grossing Stations
With a footprint measuring just 13” wide x 13” long, the LaserTrack SLIM Cassette Printer fits perfectly at individual grossing stations so cassettes can be printed where they are needed, as they are needed. This distributed printing model is a key component for an overall efficient and error-free workflow model.
And for labs that handle smaller or more specialized case volumes, the LaserTrack SLIM can be used in batch mode where cassettes are printed in batches at a designated printing station and delivered to the grossing stations.
Up To Four Cassette Colors Or Types - No Need To Change Out Magazines
The LaserTrack SLIM Cassette Printer comes with 4 magazines that hold up to 80 cassettes each. Different cassette types or colors can be loaded into each magazine, so you don’t need to interrupt your workflow to manually change out magazines when a new color or type is desired, or keep a separate magazine holder at the workstation.
Print On One, Two Or All Three Sides Of The Cassette
Enhance your workflow and throughput by printing expanded case information, text, numbers and barcodes on the face and the sides of the cassette. With the LaserTrack SLIM Cassette Printer, you are no longer limited to printing only on the face of the cassette.

Many histology labs are implementing barcode-based identification and tracking of tissue samples in order to streamline workflows, enhance productivity and specimen traceability, and reduce or eliminate errors.
